Breathe – Move – Notice – Listen
Jo’s practice is an evolving, interactive and playful approach, incorporating aspects of release, yoga, contact and voice techniques. As a language she has been working on self-generating scores, simple instructions/games that play out, making connection, encouraging awareness, range, presence, multiple outcomes and simple acts like noticing.
Jo Fong is a dance artist who lives and works in Cardiff. Her work reflects the need in these times for people to come together. Her practice has been informed by notions of inclusivity, participation and is about being present, this moment, communication, listening, face to face encounters and the idea of forming community.
